Trampoline Terror! Game

Man, Trampoline Terror! is one of those weird, janky Genesis games that somehow just works. You’re basically a dude bouncing on a trampoline—sounds simple, right? Then the UFOs start shooting at you, and suddenly you’re flipping like a maniac trying not to eat dirt. The physics are just floaty enough to feel chaotic but not unfair.
The pixel art’s got that early ‘90s charm—bright colors, chunky sprites, and this weirdly hypnotic background scrolling as you go higher. First time I played, I barely lasted 30 seconds before faceplanting into the ground. But once you get the rhythm down, nailing a perfect triple backflip while dodging lasers feels stupidly satisfying.
It’s the kind of game you fire up when you’ve got 10 minutes to kill and end up playing for an hour because “just one more try” turns into chasing your high score. Definitely a hidden gem if you’re into that era’s arcade-style nonsense.
