Okay, so Toy Story 3 on DS is way better than most movie tie-in games. You start off in Andy’s room—classic Toy Story vibes—but then it quickly turns into this weirdly fun mix of platforming and mini-games. The controls are simple (it’s a DS, after all), but some of the later levels actually get kinda tricky.
What I didn’t expect? The toy customization. You collect parts to build your own playthings, and yeah, I spent way too much time making a ridiculous cowboy-bot hybrid. Also, the Wild West mini-game with Woody is low-key addictive—feels like a tiny arcade game tucked in there.
If you grew up with these characters, it’s a solid little nostalgia trip. Just don’t go in expecting a masterpiece, and you’ll have a good time.
