Top Pro Golf 2 is one of those old-school golf sims that somehow nails the balance between arcade fun and just enough realism to make you sweat over a putt. The greens feel a little unforgiving at first—I definitely three-putted way too many times before getting the hang of it—but once you adjust to the wind and elevation changes, sinking a long birdie feels weirdly satisfying for a 16-bit game.

It’s got that classic Sega vibe: bright colors, chunky sprites, and a surprisingly smooth swing meter. The Japanese version adds a few extra courses, which is nice if you’ve played the original to death. Just don’t expect PGA Tour-level depth—this is more about quick rounds and bragging rights with friends. Still holds up if you’re into retro sports games.
