Tom and Jerry: Frantic Antics is one of those weirdly fun Genesis games where the usual enemies team up—this time to rescue their friend Robyn. You switch between the two on the fly, using Tom’s brute strength for smashing obstacles and Jerry’s tiny size to sneak through tight spots. The levels are packed with classic cartoon chaos: collapsing bridges, giant mousetraps, and way too many anvils dropping from the sky.
It’s not the deepest platformer, but the animation is surprisingly smooth for a ‘94 title, and the music nails that Looney Tunes vibe. Just don’t expect a cakewalk—some of those later stages get brutal when you’re juggling both characters’ moves. Still, it’s a solid pick if you’re into old-school co-op with a twist.
