I first played Tiny Toon Adventures: Buster's Hidden Treasure back when it came out for the Sega Genesis in 1993. Konami published it, and it was one of many licensed platformers from that era, sitting right alongside other cartoon based games on the system. It felt very much of its time, a straightforward adventure you could pick up and understand immediately.

You control Buster Bunny through a series of side scrolling levels. Your main goal is to stop Montana Max from getting his hands on a legendary treasure. You run, jump on enemies, and collect carrots which act as both your health and a currency for extra lives. The levels are designed screen by screen, with some hidden warp zones and secret areas to find if you explore carefully. The pacing is generally quick, though some later stages ramp up the difficulty with tricky enemy placements and platforming. Playing it feels like a brisk, colorful run through a Saturday morning cartoon.
