Alright, so Thomas the Tank Engine on Sega Genesis—yeah, it’s exactly what it sounds like. You’re basically just chugging around as Thomas, doing little fetch quests and trying not to derail (which, honestly, happens more than you’d think). The graphics are super retro, like peak '90s pixelated trains, and the music’s got that weirdly catchy MIDI vibe.
At first, I thought it’d be a total kids’ game—and it kinda is—but there’s something weirdly satisfying about lining up deliveries and navigating the tracks. The controls are janky in that classic Genesis way, so don’t expect smooth drifting around corners. And yeah, you’ll probably get stuck on a puzzle or two because some of the solutions are… questionable.
If you grew up with the show, it’s a nostalgia trip for sure. Just don’t go in expecting Mario Kart with trains. It’s charming in its own weird little way.
