Okay, so The Lost World – Jurassic Park on Genesis is basically you vs. dinosaurs, and the dinosaurs are winning. You start off with this overhead view, sneaking through dense jungle while raptors pop out of nowhere—seriously, they love ambushes. Then it switches to side-scrolling sections where you’re either shooting tranqs or just running for your life because, surprise, T-rexes don’t care about your health bar.
The music nails that eerie Jurassic Park vibe, and the pixel-art dinos actually look intimidating (especially the compys—tiny but vicious). Some levels feel unfair at first, like the one where you’re dodging pterodactyls on a cliff, but once you memorize their patterns, it’s weirdly satisfying. Just don’t expect a walk in the park—this game’s got teeth.
