Oh man, Tetris on the Sega Genesis—this version's got that classic Russian puzzle vibe but with a slightly different feel than the Nintendo one. You know how it goes: those blocks just keep falling faster and faster, and before long you're sweating, trying to twist that stupid Z-shaped piece into place before it ruins your perfect stack. The music's catchy in that early '90s way, and something about the Genesis sound chip gives it a sharper, almost metallic edge.

What I love is how simple it looks until you're three cups of coffee deep at 2 AM, muttering "just one more game" while your high score taunts you. The Japanese version tweaks the speed and scoring a bit, so if you're used to other editions, it throws you off at first. But that's part of the charm—it’s Tetris, but not exactly the Tetris you remember. Still ruins friendships when you steal someone’s four-line clear, though.
