Tel-tel Stadium Game

Tel-Tel Stadium on the Sega Genesis is one of those weird, frantic sports games that feels like it was designed after someone chugged three energy drinks. You pick a team—I always went for the neon-green guys—and then it’s just pure chaos: players sliding everywhere, the ball bouncing like it’s made of rubber, and goals happening way too fast to keep up with.
The graphics are bright and chunky in that classic Genesis way, and the controls are simple enough that you’ll be shoulder-barging opponents within seconds. It’s not exactly realistic, but who cares when you’re laughing at how ridiculous the matches get? Two-player mode is where it really shines—my cousin and I used to waste hours trying to out-bounce each other near the goal.
If you dig old-school sports games with zero chill, this one’s a blast from the past worth digging up.
