Remember Talespin? That Sega Genesis game where you play as Baloo the bear, flying his rickety cargo plane through cartoonish skies dodging pirates and delivering weird packages? Yeah, it’s exactly as chaotic as it sounds.

You start off just trying not to crash into cliffs (which happens more than you’d think), but soon you’re doing loop-de-loops to shake off air pirates or dropping anvils on them—because of course you can. The controls take a second to get used to—your plane feels heavy at first, but once you get the hang of banking turns, it’s weirdly satisfying.

And the music? Pure 16-bit joy. The levels get wild fast—one minute you’re dodging storm clouds, the next you’re racing against a clock while some goofy villain cackles in the background. It’s not the hardest Genesis game out there, but it’s got that weird Disney-meets-arcade energy that makes it hard to put down.

If you ever rented this as a kid, you’ll grin the second the title screen pops up. If not, it’s still a solid dose of old-school fun.
