Alright, so TMNT on the DS is basically a side-scrolling beat 'em up where you pick your favorite turtle—Leo, Donnie, Mikey, or Raph—and bash your way through waves of Foot Clan goons. The touchscreen stuff is kinda neat for pulling off special moves, though I mostly stuck to the buttons after a while. It’s got that classic TMNT vibe with the cheesy one-liners and sewer levels, plus you can team up with a friend in multiplayer if you’ve got another DS handy.
Honestly, it’s not the deepest game out there, but if you just wanna wreck some robots as a ninja turtle for half an hour, it does the job. The pixel art holds up pretty well, too.
