Alright, so T2: Judgement Day on the Genesis is basically what happens when you take the movie’s vibe and cram it into a side-scrolling shooter. You play as Arnold’s T-800, blasting through waves of Skynet’s goons—some on foot, some in vehicles, all trying way too hard to stop you. The first level throws you right into the chaos: smashing through windows, dodging gunfire, and occasionally hopping into a truck to mow down enemies.
The graphics are pure 16-bit nostalgia—chunky sprites, explosions that take up half the screen, and that iconic Terminator red vision effect when you pick up a power-up. The soundtrack? All ominous synths and gunfire, just like you’d expect. It’s not the deepest game out there, but if you just want to feel like an unstoppable cyborg for 20 minutes, it nails that.
Fair warning, though: some of those later levels get brutal. You’ll memorize enemy patterns or die trying. Still, grabbing that minigun and shredding everything never gets old.
