Super Skidmarks (J-Cart) is one of those Genesis racers that somehow makes top-down driving feel ridiculously intense. You start off picking between these little toy-like cars—some handle like bricks, others slide way too much—and then you’re immediately thrown into chaotic races where half the challenge is just not spinning out every five seconds.
The tracks are packed with tight turns, oil slicks, and weird jumps that send you flying if you hit them wrong. At first, it feels like you’re wrestling the car more than driving it, but once you get the hang of drifting around corners without wiping out, it clicks. And yeah, the multiplayer is where it really shines—nothing like shoving your friend into a wall right before the finish line.
It’s got that classic ‘90s vibe where everything’s a little rough around the edges, but in a way that makes you want to try just one more race. If you’ve got a Genesis and a buddy around, this one’s a solid pick for some dumb, fast fun.
