Super Skidmarks is one of those racers that just feels right—top-down, chaotic, and packed with ridiculous drifting. You pick from a bunch of weird little cars (some handle like bricks, others slide way too easily) and then just tear through dirt, snow, and pavement while leaving these absurdly exaggerated skid trails everywhere.
The tracks are surprisingly varied—tight city loops, wide-open desert scrambles—and the physics are juuust slippery enough to make every turn a mini panic attack. It’s not fancy by today’s standards, but there’s something weirdly satisfying about nailing a perfect slide around a hairpin while your tires scream. Also, yes, the skidmarks are absolutely the star of the show.
If you’ve got a Genesis and a soft spot for old-school arcade racers, this one’s a blast.
