Super Shinobi II is one of those classic Genesis ninja games that just nails the fast-paced action. You're tossing shurikens, slashing through enemies with your sword, and pulling off wall jumps like it's second nature. The Japan version feels a bit smoother than the US release, though the levels are mostly the same—just with some extra ninja magic thrown in.
First few minutes? You're already dodging arrows, slicing up foot soldiers, and figuring out which power-ups are worth grabbing (hint: the flame scroll is ridiculous). The music’s got that classic Sega synth-rock vibe, too. If you’ve ever wanted to feel like an overpowered shinobi tearing through an army, this is the one.
