Super Real Basketball Game

Man, Super Real Basketball on the Genesis is such a blast from the past. The second you fire it up, you're hit with that chunky pixel art—big-headed players, blocky courts, and those satisfyingly loud dribble sounds. Controls are dead simple: pass, shoot, steal. No fancy combos here, just pure arcade-style hoops.
At first, I thought the AI was way too easy, but crank up the difficulty and suddenly your opponent starts pulling off ridiculous steals. The two-player mode is where it really shines though—nothing like dunking on your friend with that exaggerated, slow-mo animation while they groan in frustration.
It’s not NBA Jam levels of chaos, but there’s something weirdly charming about how straightforward it is. You’ll either love it for the nostalgia or bounce off it in five minutes. Either way, those squeaky sneaker sound effects will haunt your dreams.
