About Super Real Basketball (europe)
Super Real Basketball came out for the Sega Genesis in 1990, published by Sega. It was one of the earlier sports titles on the system, arriving at a time when developers were still figuring out how to translate the flow of a real game into a 16-bit format. You get a straightforward basketball experience without the complex season modes that would appear in later years.
You control a team of five players, switching between them on the fly to move the ball downcourt. The main goal is simple: outscore the other team by making baskets. A couple of mechanics stand out.
