Super League (europe) Game

Super League on the Genesis is one of those early '90s soccer games that feels rough around the edges now but still has its charm. The players move like they're sliding on ice half the time, and the goalkeepers might as well be cardboard cutouts, but there's something weirdly satisfying about the way the ball physics work—long passes actually have weight to them.
You pick from a handful of European clubs (no real names, of course), and the kits are so pixelated you’ll squint trying to tell teams apart. The commentary is just text popping up at the bottom, stuff like "GOAL!!" in all caps like it’s shocked you managed to score. First time I played, I accidentally slide-tackled my own defender and gave up a penalty. Classic.
It’s not the prettiest or smoothest soccer sim, but if you’re into retro sports games, it’s a fun little time capsule.
