Alright, so Spider-Man Games: The Battle Within is one of those old-school Flash brawlers where you’re up against three of Spidey’s toughest villains—Green Goblin, Sandman, and Venom. The controls are simple, but don’t let that fool you. Goblin’s chucking pumpkin bombs, Sandman’s reshaping himself mid-fight, and Venom? Yeah, he’s just brutal.

At first, I kept getting wrecked trying to dodge everything, but once you get the timing down for the Symbiote power-up, things get wild. It’s this short burst where you’re faster, hit harder, and can actually tank some hits—perfect for turning the tables when Venom’s got you cornered. Just don’t waste it too early, or you’ll regret it when Sandman starts flooding the screen with fists.

Classic Flash jankiness aside, it’s a solid little time-killer if you’re into quick, reflex-heavy fights. The symbiote mechanic makes it feel a little different from other beat-em-ups.
