Play Star Wars : Yoda Stories Online

I first played Yoda Stories on my Game Boy Color back in 1999. It was a LucasArts release, one of those many pocket-sized adventures that tried to capture the Star Wars universe on a handheld. It felt very much of its time, a simple top-down game you could pick up for short bursts, with graphics that were colorful but limited by the hardware.

You control Luke Skywalker, sent by Yoda on a series of random missions. The main goal is usually to retrieve an item or rescue someone, navigating through screen-by-screen areas that feel like little puzzles. You explore forests and caves, using your lightsaber to deflect blaster bolts back at stormtroopers and your force powers to push obstacles. The dungeons are mazes filled with enemies and switches, and the pacing is slow; you spend a lot of time backtracking through identical-looking screens. It can be repetitive, but there's a quiet, methodical satisfaction in finally figuring out the path forward and completing your assignment.
