Okay, so Star Wars Episode I - Obi-Wan's Adventures on Game Boy Color is basically what happens when you take a young Obi-Wan and throw him into a weirdly fun little side-scroller. You slash droids with your lightsaber, jump over pits (because of course there are pits), and occasionally force-push stuff when the game remembers it's a Jedi game.
The sprites are tiny but surprisingly detailed for a GBC title—you can actually tell it's Ewan McGregor’s face, which is kind of impressive. The levels mix platforming with some light puzzle-solving, like figuring out which switches open doors while battle droids shoot at you. It’s not deep, but it’s got that classic Star Wars vibe, complete with John Williams’ music crammed into 8-bit.
Honestly, it’s one of those games you play when you just want to swing a lightsaber without overthinking it. The battery save feature is a lifesaver, too.
