Spider-man And X-men – Arcade’s Revenge Game

Alright, so Spider-Man and X-Men: Arcade’s Revenge on the Sega Genesis is one of those classic 90s beat-em-ups that’ll either make you nostalgic or slightly frustrated—maybe both. You start off as Spidey, swinging through a city that feels way more cramped than you remember, dodging weirdly placed enemies and bottomless pits. Then, bam, you’re suddenly playing as Wolverine or Storm, each with their own janky controls and powers. Storm’s flying feels stiff, but at least she can shoot lightning, right?
The levels are basically Arcade’s sadistic playground—full of instant-death traps and enemies that spawn out of nowhere. The graphics are pure 16-bit charm, though, with bright colors and those classic comic book sprites. And yeah, the soundtrack slaps in that early 90s Sega way. Just don’t expect it to hold your hand—this one’s tough as nails.
If you’re into retro Marvel games or just love punishing platformers, it’s worth a play. Just maybe keep a walkthrough handy.
