Alright, so Spider-Man And The X-Men on the Sega Genesis is one of those weird, kinda janky but weirdly charming superhero games from the '90s. You pick between Spidey, Wolverine, Cyclops, Storm, or Gambit—each with their own moves, which is cool—but let’s be real, Wolverine’s claws feel way more satisfying than Cyclops’ laser eyes (sorry, Scott).
The levels are these short, arcade-style brawls where you punch through waves of goons, dodge projectiles, and occasionally fight a boss who’s probably way harder than they should be. The controls are a little stiff, but once you get used to it, there’s something fun about just mashing buttons while Wolverine yells "Bub!" every five seconds.
It’s not the deepest game, and the graphics are pure 16-bit cheese, but if you grew up with comics or just love that era of Marvel, it’s a fun little time capsule. Just don’t expect anything as polished as, say, X-Men: Arcade’s Revenge—this one’s more of a "play for nostalgia, not for glory" kind of deal.
