Alright, let’s talk about this old-school Spider-Man game on the Sega Genesis. It’s one of those early attempts at bringing the wall-crawler to consoles, and honestly? It’s rough around the edges, but there’s something charming about it.

You start off swinging through a blocky, neon-lit New York—well, "swinging" is generous. The web mechanics are janky, and half the time you’ll faceplant into a building instead of gracefully arcing over it. But once you get the hang of it, there’s a weird satisfaction to nailing a perfect swing between rooftops.

The villains are classic—Doc Ock, Venom—but don’t expect deep storytelling. It’s mostly "bad guy shows up, punch them, repeat." Combat’s basic, just punches and web shots, but the real challenge comes from the platforming. Some jumps feel downright cruel, and the camera doesn’t always help. Still, there’s a weird thrill in barely making it to the next ledge.

It’s not the best Spider-Man game out there, but if you’re into retro titles or just want to see where the web-slinging genre started, it’s worth a look. Just don’t expect it to hold your hand.
