Spider-man (acclaim) (beta) Game

This one's a weird little time capsule—a Spider-Man game for the Genesis that never actually got a full release. It’s based on the 90s animated series, so you get that nostalgic Saturday morning cartoon vibe right from the jump. The animations are surprisingly smooth for a Genesis title, and swinging around New York feels pretty good… until you realize the collision detection is kind of a mess.
You start off chasing Venom through the city, and the music nails that classic superhero urgency. But man, some of the enemy placements feel downright unfair—like the devs were rushing to finish this before the deadline hit. Still, there’s something charming about its janky, unfinished state. If you’re into obscure beta games, this is a fun curiosity to mess around with for an afternoon.
