Space Harrier II on the Genesis isn't quite the arcade-perfect experience the first one was, but it's still a wild ride. You're blasting through these trippy, colorful landscapes at breakneck speed, dodging obstacles and enemies that come at you from all angles. The pseudo-3D effect holds up surprisingly well, even if the graphics feel a little rough compared to the arcade original.
What I like is how it keeps that classic Space Harrier feel—you're still this dude flying through impossible worlds, weaving between giant mushrooms and weird floating heads. The controls are tight, and once you get into the rhythm, it's hard to put down. Not the definitive version, but a solid port if you're into old-school shooters.
