Sonic Sad Hill Game

Ever tried playing Sonic but everything feels... off? That’s Sonic Sad Hill for you. It’s a weird little romhack for the Sega Genesis where the levels are all twisted, the physics are just slightly wrong, and Sonic moves like he’s stuck in molasses. At first, I thought my controller was busted—until I realized the whole game’s like this on purpose.
Hills slope the wrong way, loops don’t quite connect, and jumping feels like you’re fighting gravity. It’s not broken, just unsettling in that "uncanny valley" way. Not sure if it’s genius or just frustrating, but I couldn’t stop playing just to see how much weirder it got. Definitely one of those "you gotta try it to get it" mods.
