Sonic – Into The Void (v2.4) Game

Ever wanted more Sonic but ran out of official levels? Sonic – Into The Void is one of those solid fan-made hacks that actually feels like it could’ve been a lost Genesis cartridge. The physics are tweaked just enough to feel fresh without betraying the original’s speed—you still get that satisfying snap when you roll into a ball downhill, but the level layouts force you to think a little differently.
First thing you’ll notice: the zones have this eerie, almost surreal vibe compared to the usual Green Hill palette. Lots of floating platforms and weird background details that make it feel like Sonic stumbled into some glitchy pocket dimension. The spikes are placed just mean enough to keep you on your toes, but it never feels unfair. And yeah, there’s a reason it’s called "Into The Void"—wait till you hit the later acts.
If you’ve burned through the classics and need something new that doesn’t mess with the formula too much, this one’s worth firing up in your emulator of choice. Just watch out for those bottomless pits—they come out of nowhere.
