Sonic 2 Ex Game

So, Sonic 2 EX is basically the classic Sonic 2 we all know, but with some sneaky little tweaks that make it way more interesting. You still blast through Green Hill Zone at breakneck speed, but now there are extra routes, hidden paths, and even Knuckles as a playable character—which, honestly, feels weirdly natural in this version.
The physics feel a tiny bit smoother, and those cheap enemy placements from the original? Gone. Or at least less annoying. First time I played, I stumbled into a secret area I’d never seen before, and it totally threw me off—in a good way. If you’ve memorized every pixel of Sonic 2, this’ll mess with your muscle memory in the best possible sense.
Oh, and Tails doesn’t just awkwardly float behind you anymore—he’s got his own separate mode now. It’s the kind of upgrade that makes you wonder why Sega didn’t do it back in the day.
