Sega Channel (scientific Atlanta) (program) Game

Man, the Sega Channel was something else back in the day. You'd fire up your Scientific Atlanta box, and suddenly you had this whole rotating library of Genesis and Master System games—no cartridges, no waiting, just pick something and play. I remember scrolling through the menu, half the fun was just seeing what weird or forgotten titles popped up each month.
Some games stuck around, others vanished after a few weeks, so you had to grab them while you could. Found a few favorites that way—stuff I never would’ve bought normally. The selection was all over the place, from Sonic to obscure RPGs, and yeah, the graphics were pixelated as hell, but that was part of the charm.
If you missed out back then, it’s hard to explain how cool this felt compared to renting carts. Just don’t expect modern convenience—this was the ‘90s, so loading times and weird cable hiccups came with the territory.
