Sega Channel Demo Cartridge 4 Game

Man, the Sega Channel Demo Cartridge 4 is such a weird little time capsule. You pop it into your Genesis and suddenly it's 1994 again—except instead of waiting for the cable guy to hook up the actual Sega Channel service, you've got this bizarre sampler platter of half-games and demo versions.
Some of these demos barely last five minutes before cutting you off, which is equal parts frustrating and nostalgic. Like, there's this one where you get two Sonic levels and then—bam—"FULL GAME AVAILABLE SOON." Thanks, Sega. But that's the charm of it? You get these weird slices of games that never made it big, or early builds where the sprites look slightly off. Found myself weirdly hooked on some obscure puzzle game demo that I'd never bother with if it were the full version.
If you're into gaming history, it's fascinating to see what Sega thought would hook players back then. Just don't expect a polished experience—this thing's basically a museum piece that occasionally lets you press buttons.
