Scrabble (beta) Game

Scrabble on the Genesis is exactly what you'd expect—classic wordplay with that 16-bit charm. You start by dumping tiles onto a digital board, trying to squeeze out high-scoring words while the AI (or a friend) waits impatiently. The beta version feels a little rough around the edges—some animations stutter, and the dictionary can be weirdly strict—but it’s still Scrabble at its core.
What surprised me was how cutthroat the AI gets on higher difficulties. It’ll hoard the S tiles just to ruin your plans, and suddenly "qi" becomes your best friend. The pixelated board has this weirdly cozy vibe, though, especially with the synth-y background music looping in the background. If you’ve got a Genesis and a competitive streak, it’s a solid way to kill an afternoon arguing about whether "za" counts as a word.
