I first came across Same! Same! Same! on the Sega Genesis, a game released in 1990 by Kaneko. It appeared during a period when the console was filling up with shooters, each trying to stand out with a unique visual style or a particular gimmick. You pilot a fighter jet, navigating horizontally scrolling stages packed with enemy aircraft, tanks, and turrets.
