Rolo To The Rescue is one of those weirdly charming Genesis games where you play as a little elephant trying to save his animal friends. The levels are bite-sized but surprisingly tricky—you’ll be pushing blocks, dodging bees, and figuring out how to use each rescued critter’s ability to get through obstacles. The frog can jump higher, the mouse fits in tight spaces… that kind of thing.
No saves, so you’re either committing to a long session or accepting that you’ll replay some levels. The art’s got that early ‘90s pastel vibe, and the music sticks in your head way longer than it should. It’s the kind of game where you’ll get stuck on some puzzle for 10 minutes, then feel like a genius when the solution finally clicks.
