Man, this game is pure '90s action cheese in the best way possible. You get to stomp around as RoboCop blasting through waves of Terminators—yeah, the crossover we didn’t know we needed. The pixel art holds up surprisingly well, especially the explosions and those crunchy sound effects when you unload your gun.
It’s a side-scroller, so expect a lot of running right and shooting everything that moves. Some of the Terminator designs are wild—you’ll fight everything from standard T-800s to these weird flying drones. The controls are stiff in that classic Genesis way, but once you get used to it, there’s something satisfying about lining up a perfect shot and watching metal fly.
Fair warning: it’s tough. You’ll die a lot, especially in later levels where the screen gets crowded. But if you grew up on this era of games, that’s part of the charm. Just don’t expect a deep story—it’s basically an excuse to mash two franchises together and let you go nuts.
