Road Rash on the Sega Genesis is pure chaotic fun—imagine racing down winding roads at breakneck speed while punching rival bikers in the face. The first time I played, I thought it was just another racer, but nope—you’re weaving through traffic, swinging at anyone dumb enough to pull up beside you, and praying you don’t wipe out when a cop shows up.

The bikes handle like they’re barely under control (which, honestly, adds to the charm), and the soundtrack’s got that crunchy early ‘90s guitar vibe. You’ll start with a junker that barely stays upright, but after a few races, you’re trading punches with leather-clad goons on something that actually feels fast. Just don’t get too cocky—one wrong bump and you’re eating pavement while the pack leaves you behind.

It’s aged surprisingly well, mostly because beating up other riders never gets old. If you’ve got a Genesis lying around, dust it off for this one.
