Roadblasters (japan) Game

RoadBlasters on the Genesis is this wild arcade-style racer where you're basically driving a futuristic muscle car while blasting everything in sight. The Japanese version plays just as fast and chaotic as the US release—no brakes, just gas and guns. You start off weaving through traffic, picking off enemy cars with your unlimited ammo (thankfully), and dodging oil slicks like they're personal insults.
The controls are simple—hold down to accelerate, tap to shoot—but the real challenge is not crashing into the scenery when you're swarmed by enemies. The music’s got that classic late-80s synth energy, and the sprite work holds up surprisingly well. If you played it in arcades back in the day, this port does a solid job of keeping that same frantic vibe.
It’s one of those games where you either love the chaos or get wrecked in the first 30 seconds. I still can’t decide if the power-ups are actually helpful or just there to mess with you.
