Oh man, Stimpy's Invention—this weird little Genesis game based on the Ren & Stimpy cartoon. It's a side-scroller where you mostly play as Stimpy (sometimes Ren) jumping through bizarre levels full of gross-out humor and random gags straight from the show. The controls are kinda stiff, but that almost adds to the charm—like you're fighting the game as much as the enemies.
First level throws you right into Stimpy's house, smashing furniture and dodging giant boogers. The art style nails the show's gross-but-detailed look, though some of the animations are hilariously janky. And yeah, the music? Unforgettable in that early '90s way—you'll be humming the main theme for days.
It's not the deepest platformer, but if you grew up with the cartoon, there's something weirdly satisfying about stepping on Ren's face or collecting "happy happy joy joy" tokens. Just don't expect tight gameplay—this is pure nostalgia fuel.
