Red Zone is one of those classic Sega Genesis shooters where you're basically a one-helicopter army. You pilot an Apache, dodging missiles and blowing up everything from tanks to secret bases—all while some dictator tries to nuke the world. Yeah, it’s that kind of game.
It plays a lot like Desert Strike—you’ll be scavenging fuel and ammo drops between missions, trying not to get shot down mid-air. The controls take a second to get used to, but once you do, weaving through enemy fire while unloading rockets feels pretty satisfying. Just don’t expect a walk in the park—this one doesn’t go easy on you.
If you’re into old-school top-down shooters with a military twist, this one’s a solid pick.
