About Raiden Densetsu ? Raiden Trad
Raiden Densetsu, known as Raiden Trad in some regions, came out for the Sega Genesis in 1991. It was developed by Seibu Kaihatsu, a company known for its arcade shooters. This was a time when the Genesis was full of ports trying to capture the intensity of the arcade experience at home.
You pilot a lone fighter ship against waves of enemy craft and massive bosses. Your main goal is to survive each stage, destroying everything in your path to reach the end. The game gives you two weapon types, a spread shot and a laser, and you collect power-ups to strengthen them. You also gather medals for points and can call in options, little drones that mirror your firepower. The screen scrolls vertically, and the pacing is relentless, with bullets and enemies filling the space. It feels like a constant, tense dance between aggression and evasion just to stay alive.
