About Ragnacenty (korea)
Ragnacenty came out for the Sega Genesis in 1994, developed by NexTech. It was part of that wave of action RPGs on the system, games that tried to build big worlds within the console's limits. You don't hear much about it now, but it was a solid effort for its time.
You control a young hero exploring a fantasy continent, moving screen by screen through forests, towns, and dungeons. The main goal is to find the scattered pieces of a legendary sword to defeat an ancient evil. You use that sword in direct combat against monsters, and you can also switch to a bow for ranged attacks. The dungeons are maze-like, requiring you to find keys and avoid traps. The pacing is deliberate, and the difficulty can be unforgiving if you rush into areas unprepared. Playing it feels like a methodical journey where every new screen holds a small discovery.
