R.B.I. Baseball 93 on the Genesis is basically the same arcade-style baseball you remember from earlier Tengen games, just with updated rosters. The pitching feels a little stiff, but once you get used to the timing, you can absolutely smoke fastballs into the outfield. Fielding’s still a bit janky—good luck chasing down those line drives—but that’s part of the charm.
No deep stats or franchise mode here, just quick, no-frills baseball. The pixel art holds up, especially the batter stances and those satisfying home run animations. Played a full game last night and still got way too invested in the bottom of the ninth. Classic early '90s sports vibes.
