Quackshot Starring Donald Duck – Quackshot – Guruzia Ou No Hihou Game
📅 1991 ✍️ Sega

QuackShot is one of those weirdly charming Genesis games where Donald Duck—yes, that Donald—goes full Indiana Jones. You start off in Duckburg with a plunger gun (don’t ask), but soon you’re bouncing between jungles, pyramids, and haunted castles looking for pieces of a treasure map. The pixel art’s got that early ‘90s Disney magic, all bright colors and exaggerated expressions.
What I love is how it mixes platforming with light puzzle-solving—you’ll be flipping switches, dodging traps, and occasionally getting stuck because you missed a hidden path (that ice cave still haunts me). The controls are simple, but some jumps require weirdly precise timing. And the music? Cheesy synth trumpets that somehow work perfectly.
It’s short, maybe a couple hours if you know what you’re doing, but there’s something about the vibe—like a Saturday morning cartoon you can actually play. Just don’t expect deep lore. It’s Donald Duck with a gun, after all.
