About Pyramid Magic Special (seganet)
Pyramid Magic Special was a SegaNet exclusive for the Sega Genesis, released in 1990 by Sega. It arrived during a period when the 16-bit console was establishing its library with a mix of arcade ports and original titles, offering a different kind of action puzzle experience for players at the time.
You control a small wizard navigating a single screen pyramid. Your goal is to eliminate all the monsters in each room by transforming blocks. You can push blocks to crush enemies or change their color to match others, causing them to vanish and damage any foes caught in the chain reaction. The game progresses screen by screen, with the difficulty ramping up as new enemy types and more complex block arrangements are introduced. It feels like a tense, cerebral scramble where one wrong move can trap you.
