Pyramid Magic Ii (seganet) Game

Pyramid Magic II is one of those weird little Genesis puzzlers that sticks with you—mostly because it’s equal parts charming and frustrating. You’re basically an explorer dodging traps and solving tile-based puzzles inside these blocky Egyptian pyramids. The first few screens ease you in with sliding blocks and switches, but before long, you’re timing jumps over spike pits while some ominous MIDI flute music plays in the background.
The pixel art’s got that early ‘90s Sega vibe—simple but full of personality, especially the way your little adventurer waddles around. And yeah, it’s tough. Some of those later pyramid layouts feel like they were designed by a pharaoh with a grudge. But when you finally line up all the gems or outsmart a trap sequence, it’s weirdly satisfying. Just don’t expect to breeze through it in one sitting.
If you’re into retro puzzle games that don’t hold your hand, this one’s a solid time capsule. The music alone will haunt your dreams.
