Pyramid Magic Iii (seganet) Game

Pyramid Magic III is one of those Genesis games that somehow flew under the radar back in the day, but man, does it hold up. You start off in this eerie pyramid—the music alone gives you that "I shouldn't be here" vibe—and right away, you're flipping switches, dodging traps, and solving tile puzzles that get seriously devious by the second level.
What I love is how it mixes old-school platforming with legit brain teasers. One minute you're jumping over pits, the next you're rearranging hieroglyph blocks while some cursed statue shoots fire at you. The controls are tight, though—none of that slippery nonsense you get in some retro platformers.
And that soundtrack? Haunting chiptune melodies that stick in your head for days. It’s got that classic SEGA charm, but with a darker edge that fits the whole cursed-pyramid thing perfectly. Just don’t blame me when you lose an hour trying to crack the obelisk puzzle in World 3.
