About Putter Golf (seganet)
Putter Golf was a Sega Genesis game released in 1990, developed by Sega for their SegaNet online service in Japan. It arrived during a period when developers were experimenting with bringing different sports to the console, and this one focused squarely on golf. The game was part of a small collection of titles designed for the SegaNet modem, a peripheral that never saw a release outside of Japan.
You control a golfer from an overhead perspective, moving a cursor to select your club and aim your shot. The main objective is to complete each hole in as few strokes as possible, navigating greens, sand traps, and water hazards.
