About Psycho Pinball
Psycho Pinball came out for the Sega Genesis in 1994, published by Codemasters. It was one of many pinball games on the system, but it stood out because of its strange, horror themed tables. You got four different tables in one cartridge, which felt like a good deal at the time.
You control the flippers, trying to keep the ball in play across tables like the haunted house or the alien world. The main goal is just to score points, but each table has its own mini games and secrets to uncover. You can lock balls for multiball, trigger ramps that change the playfield, and hit specific targets to start animated sequences. The game moves fast, and the ball physics can be unforgiving, making it a tough challenge. It feels chaotic and unpredictable, which keeps you coming back for one more game.
