Prince of Persia (the original Flash version) still holds up surprisingly well—mostly because of how fluid the animations were for its time. You play as this nimble prince trying to sneak, jump, and sword-fight his way through a dungeon before the evil Vizier unleashes the Sands of Time. And yeah, you’ve only got eight minutes to pull it off.
The controls are simple—run, jump, climb—but the timing has to be perfect. One wrong move and you’re impaled on spikes or sliced up by guards. The first time I played, I kept dying because I didn’t realize you could actually slow down before jumps. Turns out, rushing gets you killed faster.
It’s short, tense, and still satisfying when you finally outmaneuver those blade traps. If you’ve only played the newer Prince of Persia games, this one’s a cool throwback to where it all started.
