Final Fight is that classic beat 'em up where you play as Cody (or Guy, or Haggar) and punch your way through waves of thugs to save the mayor’s daughter. It was originally supposed to be a sequel to Street Fighter, but Capcom pivoted and gave us this instead—honestly, I’m not complaining.
The controls are simple—WASD to move, K to jump, J and L to punch and kick—but the real fun is in the chaos. You’ll grab pipes off the ground, suplex dudes into trash cans, and occasionally get jumped by three guys at once. The first level’s a mess of neon signs and punks in leather jackets, and it only gets wilder from there.
It’s one of those games where you can tell the devs just went all-in on the brawler vibe. The music slaps, the sprites are chunky and full of personality, and yeah, you’ll probably die a few times figuring out the timing. Still holds up if you’re into old-school arcade chaos.
